Painful as it may seem, last night was a tribute that will linger in our hearts for a very long time! Seeing Kobe Bryant sign off his 20-long year’s career in the NBA was like a dream we never wished for but had to witness come true.

The star studded event was the most expensive in basketball history with tickets going for as high as a pair of courtside seats for a staggering $27,500 each. Kobe didn’t fail to put up a great show as he ended his career with 60 good points. Great 3 points and a couple more cross dribbles he is known for although a bit old to attempt rocket flying dunks like before.

I could go on and on about that special game which ended in the LAKERS favour putting up a fight to end up winning Utah Jazz winning by 101-96.

My quest however is to help you update your wardrobe or style looking the recently retired basketball legend – Kobe Bryant. One thing is certain Kobe never went overboard in his styling. He rather kept it SAFE and SIMPLE as I’d love to call it!

The black mamba as his fondly called isn’t a fan of two many colors but I can tell you for sure that his favorite colors would be BLACK & GRAY! This is because Kobe would rather wear either of these and keep his looks simple.

Pick two colors that best works for your skin color and makes you stay comfortable. It doesn’t mean you can’t try other colors. However, this enables you stay confident and stylish besides black and gray is a must have.

Accessorizing is fantastic! But in most cases less is more. I would want to believe that this is Kobe’s mantra whenever he prepares to look dapper. A simple multi-color, plain or floral pocket square type would do and we buy that idea too!

Try once in a while to avoid over accessorizing when you need to dress up for a business meeting, semi formal event. Keeping it simple with just a simple pocket square will do just fine.
